How SUDZ Was Born

 

In the summer of 2021, SUDZ was founded by Myia Belfast (that’s me) and my sister & cofounder Misty Belfast. We are two creative sisters that live on the island of Tobago, Trinidad & Tobago, that enjoy living a creative and natural life. 

After seeing the serious impact of the traditional store bought soaps on our health and women’s health specifically, the amount of soaps that were labelled natural but filled with fragrances and sulphates and frequent complaints of sensitive skin and troubles, they all drove us to see the need of pure and truly natural soap here on our island. 

With some research, and inspiration from successful soapers on YouTube along with the encouragement of our future customers, we made our first batch of soap June 2021! After that first batch I was seriously hooked and fell in love with the soaping process, the bar soap and amazing results on my skin and others skin.

 I now run the business solely as an entrepreneur, and enjoy serving others through each natural bar. Several orders and happy customers, 200 + bars later I can heartily say it was one of the best decisions of my life, starting this little-big business and feeling one of my passions in life.
